Issues with the Lightsworn Engine

I keep on hearing that the Lightsworn deck now takes more skill to play, which is believe is false. If anything, the Lightsworn engine takes less skill to play. Something disturbing that I've noticed is that Konami seems to actually want LS to be as sacky as possible, as they hit the cards that promote skill and keep cards that give instant advantages through drawing high up on the list.

Cards that promote skill that were hit: Charge of the Light Brigade, Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner.

Cards that give instant advantage upon being drawn or milled (which you can't control except for cheating): Wulf, Lightsworn Beast, Judgment Dragon, Honest, and Solar Recharge.

The only exception is Necro Gardna, what is your guy's thoughts on this?

They should have banned JD and kept Necro at 3, IMO. But as for LS now...OppressionSworn is the way to go.

Necro still doesn't promote skill though (well it kinda does as you choose which cards to block) but it still basically gives reward for something you can't really control.

Judgment Dragon is sorta the same thing but for drawing. I would personally limit Solar Recharge, ban/limit Wulf, ban JD, and limit Honest. (As all these cards give advantages for drawing or milling them, which isn't dependent on skill.)

I would put Charge to 3 and maybe print some new stuff for them too.

Necro is balanced. 1 card, one attack. I can't see how stopping one attack is unbalanced.

The issue is more that Necro is a card that rewards you for not doing anything (every time you play an LS monster, you have a chance of milling Necro.)

Basically, I feel that attaching an extra effect to LS monster's mill turns milling from a cost into something enormously beneficial. The LS mill effect basically increases offensive and defensive capabilities for free.
